Twitter post helps locate missing Edmonton boy

Samuel Kenneth David has been found safe and sound, thanks to one of Global Edmonton's Twitter followers.

The 10-year-old was was supposed to be spending the night at a friend's house on Wednesday night.

Family reported him missing after he did not show up for school on Thursday.

An Edmonton resident who had read about Samuel's disappearance through a Global Edmonton tweet saw a boy matching his description playing in south Edmonton, and called police.

Police are thanking residents for their help in locating Samuel so quickly.
