City records 28th homicide of 2011
Police were called to a home at 109th Avenue and 97th Street after a body was found Thursday afternoon. A police forensics truck is parked behind the house.

Police have now confirmed that a suspicious death in the McCauley neighbourhood is the city's 28th homicide of 2011.
The body was found in the area of 97th street and 109 avenue just after 8:00 pm on Thursday.
An autopsy has been conducted, and police say the victim is a male.
No other information will be released about the victim until his next of kin is notified.
This is the city's 28th homicide of 2011.
At this time in 2010 the city had only recorded 13 homicides.
The city of Calgary has only recorded three homicides this year.
