Yellowhead Inn death is homicide 27

Edmonton police have confirmed that the death of a woman at the Yellowhead Inn on June 22nd is being investigated as a homicide.
Investigators were called to the Yellowhead Inn, in the area of the Yellowhead Trail and 149 Street just after 8:00 on Wednesday morning.
An autopsy was performed on the body on Friday. The cause of death has not been released.
The woman has not been positively identified at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
This is Edmonton's 27th homicide of 2011.
At this time in 2010, the city had only recorded 13 homicides.
