Edmonton's 'speed on green' cameras could be back online as early as June.
The program was suspended in January after an erroneous ticket was issued, and refunds were issued to all drivers who had paid a ticket issued by the camera since the program began.
The refunds totalled more than $12M.
The city must make sure the cameras are foolproof before the cameras will be used to record speeds again.
A computer program will be used to make sure there are no mistakes with the tickets, and every violation will be checked to make sure it is valid.
