Woman charged after morning hit and run

EDMONTON - A 42-year-old woman is facing several charges in connection with an early-morning hit and run after turning herself into police on Friday.

Two teens are were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after they were hit by a vehicle Friday morning.

The two male students were crossing the 163 Street at 8:00 am near Jasper Place High School, when a white vehicle travelling southbound hit them.

The vehicle didn't stop, and left the scene of the collision.

The woman is now facing two charges of failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing bodily harm and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
