EDMONTON - A second teen has now been charged in connection with Edmonton's 45th homicide of 2011 in Lewis Estates.
Steven Boldt, 18, has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of a 17-year-old man on December 14th.
Shortly after 11:00 pm on the 14th, police were called to the area of Picard Drive in the Lewis Estates.
An injured man was found at the scene.
He was transported to hospital, where he passed away on December 15th.
An autopsy revealed that the victim died of a gunshot wound.
Investigators do not think the incident was random.
Earlier this week, a 16-year-old male was also charged with second degree murder in connection with the case.
