A crash in south Edmonton has killed an elderly woman.
Police say a half-ton truck was driving east on 23rd avenue at 98 street when it hit a sedan making a left hand turn.
A woman in her 80s, who was a passenger in the car was taken to hospital, where she later died.
The driver of the sedan, also in his 80s, suffered some non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was not hurt in the crash.
Police closed several lanes around the intersection to investigate.
