TORONTO - The $50-million jackpot in Friday’s Lotto Max draw has finally been won after going unclaimed for the previous three weekly draws.

The winning ticket was sold in Quebec, though exactly where has not yet been revealed.

Fifty MaxMillions prizes of $1-million were up for grabs in last night's draw, and there are winning tickets for 17 of those prizes.

Eleven were sold in Ontario, three in Quebec, two in Edmonton and one other one in Alberta. Two more were also sold in B.C. and Saskatchewan.

In addition, a $1 million Encore winning ticket was sold in Toronto. Two other tickets sold in Ontario won $500,000, and the $100,000 EXTRA prize went to the owner of ticket bought in Alberta.

The $100-million in total prize money in Friday’s draw was the most since Lotto Max was launched in 2009.
