EDMONTON - The death of a man found injured Monday on a street in central Edmonton afternoon is not suspicious, police say.

Police were called after a man was found outside Royal Alex Place, 10106 111th Ave. at around 3:30 p.m.
He was taken to the nearby Royal Alexandra Hospital, where he later died, police spokeswoman Clair Seyler said. Although the death was initially treated as suspicious, the medical examiner ruled the death was not criminal.
