An Edmonton police constable is back home after riding across Canada, fundraising for multiple sclerosis.

Chris Anderson and his father Dave, along with a number of Edmonton police officers, arrived at the Alberta Legislature grounds after a 34 day trip.

Chris and Dave began their motorcycle journey on July 17th in St. John's and finished in Victoria.

Chris was inspired by his sister Erin, who is also a police officer, and was diagnosed with M.S. last year.

Along the 12 thousand kilometre trip, the pair stopped in numerous cities, meeting with local M.S. societies.

Anderson raised just over $16 thousand along his journey.

Erin wasn't able to make the entire trip with her brother and dad, but says she is very proud of what they've accomplished for the disease.
