South Edmonton dumper identified
This truck was caught illegally dumping waste water into a south Edmonton field on Tuesday by our Global 1 helicopter.

Global News has tracked down the owner of a commercial truck caught dumping waste water in a southeast Edmonton field.
There are "no dumping" signs in the area, but that didn't stop the trucker from flushing dirty water out of his pumper into the field on Tuesday evening as Global 1 recorded the scene from the air.
On Thursday Global News tracked down the company that owns that truck. Officials with commercial trenching admit their driver did the wrong thing, and they're offering to make things right with the city.
Because of Global's investigation, the city has ordered an immediate cleanup of the site.
