Serious issues with cell phone service in downtown Vancouver

Many cell phone users near the fan zones in downtown Vancouver are having serious service issues.

Users are unable to send or receive data because of the number of people attempting to use their phones in the area.

The issue seems to be affecting all mobile networks. More than 150,000 people are downtown watching the game outside.
