Missing Edmonton police officer located

Edmonton police say that Const. Ronnie Chiu has been safely located.

Chiu was reported missing earlier this week after he did not report to work with the police service on May 23rd.

According to police, the missing officer made contact with EPS after learning that a search had been launched for him.

Chiu has been reassigned to administrative duties, pending a review.

No further information about his whereabouts over the past few days is being released.
