Edmonton police are asking for help from the public to find a missing EPS officer.

Const. Ronnie Chiu, 46, has not been seen since May 22nd, when he left work at 8:00 pm in the area of 88 Street and 51 Avenue.

Const. Chiu did not arrive for work on May 23rd, which police say is out of character.

"Our investigators have exhausted all avenues of investigation, so we are asking for the public's help in locating the constable and his vehicle," says Const. Jim Gurney, of the Missing Persons Unit.

Const. Chiu was last seen wearing a white golf shirt with horizontal blue striping, blue jeans, dark shoes, a light coloured baseball cap and glasses. He is 6'2", 200 lbs., and a shaved head.

He was driving his green 1998 GMC Sierra truck with an extended cab and a distinctive metal roll-up tonneau cover. The vehicle licence plate is SVE 078.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
