Plains Midstream Canada (PMC), the company that owns the pipeline at the centre of the Rainbow Pipeline spill spill in northern Alberta has temporarily suspended cleanup operations after an call for help came in from an unidentified worker on the worker's radio system at 9:30 on Wednesday morning.
The company is now conducting a headcount at the site to account for all of the workers.
The leak in the 45-year-old pipeline was discovered on April 29th.
The spill is one of the largest in Alberta's history.
