Should fighting be banned in NHL hockey? The question is once again being raised after a fight between Steve MacIntyre and Raitis Ivanans during the Edmonton Oilers season opener against the Calgary Flames at Rexall Place on Thursday evening.

The two players got a brawl with less than three minutes left in the third period, and Ivanans was knocked down. The Calgary player was removed from the game looking dazed.
