A woman died after being hit by a truck in west Edmonton Thursday.Police believe the women stepped off the south curb at a bus stop on 118 Avenue and 178 Street around noon when she was hit by the truck.The unidentified woman was taken to hospital but died of her injuries.The intersection remained closed for about 4 hours after the crash as police investigated.No charges have been laid.
