Two dead after house fire near Bonnyville

Two people have died, and a third remains in hospital after a house fire near Bonnyville.

Emergency crews were called to the home, 2.5 kms east of Bonnyville at 2:10 on Tuesday morning.

The occupants of the home, three men in their early 20s, were transported to hospital in Bonnyville.

Two of the men were pronounced dead at the hospital.

The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of next of kin.

All three men are believed to be from Ontario.

Fire investigators and the RCMP Forensic Identification Unit are still investigating the cause of the fire.
