Star Wars Identities coming to Edmonton

EDMONTON - Movie buffs will have the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of one of the most famous film franchises of all time next fall when the Star Wars Identities exhibition makes its way to Edmonton.

The interactive exhibition, which promises to explore "the components of human identity" will open on October 27, 2012 at the TELUS World of Science (TWOS).

"Genetics, psychology, neuropsychology and everything that makes you who you are," said Jacques-Andre Dupont, executive producer of the exhibit. "But to make it fun how we're going to do it is through the universe of Star Wars."

Edmonton is one of only two Canadian cities to host the exhibit, which debuts in Montreal next April.

The exhibit will feature approximately 200 pieces from the Lucasfilm archives including costumes, props and artwork from all six Star Wars films.

Tickets for the exhibition can be purchased through the TELUS World of Science website.
