A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Highway 28 near Redwater.
RCMP were called to the scene sometime between 7 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, at which point they found the fatally injured pedestrian laying on the side of the highway.
The vehicle involved left the scene and has yet to be located.
RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen anything to contact them.
The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
