The families of Tanner Craswell, Mitch MacLean and Tabitha Stapple spoke at a memorial on Saturday.
A memorial for the victims of a triple murder-suicide in southern Alberta a month ago has heard that two promising baseball players were called up to the major leagues.
Tanner Craswell and Mitch MacLean were gunned down along with Tabitha Stepple on a highway south of Calgary by an angry ex-boyfriend who turned the gun on himself.
Scott Reiling, who was Craswell's first billet, says the two young men are now playing in a better place and turning magnificent double plays.
The families of all three victims took the stage to speak at the memorial in Lethbridge on Saturday.
About 1,500 people are attending the service.
