Boy falls from Edmonton apartment

A young boy was rushed to hospital this afternoon after suffering a potentially dangerous fall.

Emergency crews were called to an apartment on Lakewood Road just before 1:00 on Tuesday afternoon. The boy was apparently playing inside a suite when he fell out the window, dropping about 15 feet to the ground. Fortunately he landed on the grass and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Police say it was an unfortunate incident, as the four year was supposed to be watched by his older siblings. The accident happened when they turned away for a short moment.
