On October 22, 2011, Const. Adam Kube was off-duty when he attended a traffic stop being conducted by members of the Edmonton Police Service.
During his interaction with the investigating members, Const. Kube allegedly produced a cancelled insurance card which subsequently resulted in an investigation into his actions.
After reviewing the investigation and consulting with the Crown, Chief of Police Rod Knecht made the decision to charge Const. Adam Kube with Obstruction of Justice.
Kube has been member of the Edmonton Police Service, working in a patrol division for almost three years.
