The Edmonton Police Service has issued Canada-wide warrants for the arrest of a man in connection with a homicide in November 2012.
29-year-old Hassan Isse Ismail is wanted in connection with the stabbing death of 24-year-old Aden Ahmed.
On November 19, 2012 Ahmed died in hospital after being stabbed at a residence near 94th Street and 113th Avenue. Police say Ahmed was stabbed during an altercation involving several males.
Ismail is wanted on charges of second degree murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Ismail is believed to have ties to the Greater Toronto area. He is described as a black male, 6'3" tall, and weighs more than 200 pounds.
