Airdrie RCMP identify homicide victim

Airdrie – RCMP have released the identity of a 40-year-old man who was found dead on Sunday.

Police found Garland Curtis’ body inside an Airdrie home, and confirm they are classifying his death as a homicide.

Neighbours say the man lived alone and worked in northern Alberta.

Investigators are trying to locate the victim’s vehicle, which is described as a four-door 1994 purple Saturn SL2 with Alberta license plate EGF166.

The driver's side rear quarter panel has been repainted with a different shade of purple.

Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to call Airdrie RCMP or their local police agency.
