Tracy was born and raised in Edmonton but decided that change of pace was needed. Alongside her husband and two children, they are enjoying life on an acreage north of the city. It was after they moved when Tracy began taking an interest in photography. It started mainly of her family, the newly aquired pets and farm animals, as well as nearby wildlife. Soon she found herself photographing sunsets, blue skies, and storms. When Tracy is not working as a clerk at her local Co-op, you can bet she is doing something outdoors with her camera by her side. Her other hobbies include horseback riding, gardening and cooking. Tracy has always had a special interest in storm spotting or “ cloud watching”, and has spent many afternoons predicting the cloud patterns and what they meant for their evening's activities. " I am truly in awe of the beauty of our province and the unpredictable energy in our weather, " said Tracy. "Being able to share the passion for both photography and weather with others is just an amazing opportunity." Her greatest love is her family, and she credits her interest of stormwatching to them. She's happy to admit it was because of her daughter's encouragement that she sought to join “Groundforce.”
