•Those wishing to support the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Fires Response efforts are encouraged to contribute by calling 1-800-418-1111, donating through redcross.ca, or contacting their local Red Cross office.

•RED CROSS ONLY ACCEPTING FINANCIAL DONATIONS FOR SLAVE LAKE FIRE. Household goods, food, and clothing not accepted.

•Customers can text “REDCROSS” to 30333 to donate $5 to The Canadian Red Cross Society. TELUS works with the Mobile Giving Foundation to make these donations available through mobile technology.

Edmonton Emergency Relief Services is taking donations of bedding, unopened toiletries, and towels at 10255 104 street. Call 780-428-4422 for more info. City of Edmonton ask Edmontonians NOT to drop off donations to Northlands where Slave Lake evacuees are staying.

•Donations are being taken in Spruce Grove at Walmart. Large truck and trailer set up by the Garden Centre until 9:00 p.m. Monday, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.

•Salvation Army relief efforts: Monetary donations can be made at the Salvation Army's website (specify your gift for the Slave Lake Disaster Relief Fund) or call 1-800-SAL-ARMY or visit your local Salvation Army.

•Page dedicated to helping the families and those displaced by the Slave Lake & area fires. Help Slave Lake rebuild.

•Athabasca Multiplex is in need of donations of womens, mens, and childrens underwear, socks and boxers and bras, perferably new, backpacks, bags, hair gel, nail clippers, bug spray, kids toothpaste, mouthwash, air matresses and foamies.

•Westlock is no longer accepting item donations. Cash and cheque donations can still be made at the Westlock Community Hall and Town Office.

•Teen Time Ranch in Dapp, AB, is opening doors to people AND horses.

•Crystal Glass will be collecting monetary donations at all Alberta stores until May 31, 2011. All donations collected will be passed on to Edmonton Emergency Relief Services.

•Scrapbook Memories and More at #20 Broadmoore Blvd in Sherwood Park will be taking donations for the fire victims. They will collect then drop off at Corus on Thursday.

•Telus customers can text REDCROSS to 30333 to donate $5 to the Canadian Red Cross Society

•Corus Radio at 5204 84 Street is accepting donations.

•Sportsmanlike Conduct is currently taking monetary donations to replace kids' hockey equipment destroyed in the Slave Lake blaze.

• Realty Executives Renaissance in Stony Plain, AB has set up a drop off location to accept donations for the victims of the Slave Lake fire at 5013 48 St, Stony Plain, AB

• To encourage donations to residents displaced by the Slave Lake wildfires, throughout the week Edmonton's Western Varieties Wholesale (10027 63 Ave.) is opening its doors to the public and giving 10% off wholesale prices. Ask for Desmond.

• Help animals affected by the fires by visiting the Edmonton Humane Society’s Slave Lake Rescue Mission

• All Alberta London Drugs locations will be collecting at-till donations for Slave Lake. The funds will be donated directly to Canadian Red Cross.

• Drop-off locations for Calgary donations for Slave Lake victims can be found on Facebook.

The Wean Blog has links to relief organizations

• The Kingsland Farmers' Market in Calgary is supporting the residents of Slave Lake through the Red Cross. Vedors are donating $1.00 - $5.00 from the sale of a number of items. The Market hopes to raise $1,000 to donate.
