Both Raj Sherman and Stephen Duckett are among those attending a health summit in downtown Edmonton Friday.

After coming under fire regarding remarks about Alberta Health Services, Sherman seems to once again be shifting the blame.

Sherman says he's attending Friday's meetings to apologize to AHS managers, and clarify the comments he made yesterday. He is now saying he was not blaming those managers for ER problems in the province. Rather, he is putting the blame on himself and the former government for not addressing the problem in a way they should have, and on the chairman and board of AHS.

"Maybe, to begin with, they should be brought before caucus, and to be honest, I'd like the opportunity to go at them and grill them....why are they silent on this issue?" Sherman said.

Global News will get AHS's reaction to these comments after meetings conclude Friday afternoon.
