Jenna Bridges joined Global Edmonton in May 2012 as the weekend news reporter and is thrilled to be a part of such a dedicated and hardworking team.
Jenna grew up in Calgary and when she gave up her dream of dancing, decided to focus on her second favorite activity, writing. She graduated from Mount Royal University with her Broadcasting diploma before taking off to the Peace Country, where she began her news career reporting for radio.
After anchoring and reporting in BC and Saskatchewan, she made her return to Alberta in 2011 to work in the capital city.
Jenna says she never thought she would live in Edmonton but loves every second of it and is now proud to call it home. "My favorite part of reporting is getting the chance to immerse yourself in a community and tell people’s stories."
"It is an honor to have people entrust you to deliver them their news information. I truly believe I have the best job."
When not reporting Jenna can be found at the hot yoga studio, reluctantly running (what some might define as a fast walk) in the beautiful River Valley or at the local coffee shop guzzling caffeine while reading.
