Nancy Carlson anchors Edmonton's #1 Late Night News - News Hour Final weeknights at 11pm on Global Edmonton.
Nancy was born and raised in Edmonton. She has a Bachelor of Journalism with honours from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta.
Her career in broadcast journalism began at CHCA in Red Deer before moving on to Global Regina and then CTV Winnipeg. Each adventure had her learning something new about what's important to people in different cities. Nancy says, "as a journalist I am invited inside so many homes and lives, I consider it a privilege to tell people's stories."
Before Nancy heads into work you can find her training for her next half marathon, going to a hot yoga class, or relaxing with a book and a bottomless cup of coffee. After placing in the top 10 twice, her determination has her eyeing the top five in her next marathon.
