Covering everything from medical breakthroughs to fitness trends and inspiring stories, Su-Ling Goh brings a passion for health and science to Global Edmonton as their award winning health reporter.

Su-Ling began her career in 1997 as a writer and videographer when A-Channel Edmonton (now Citytv) launched. She later moved to Calgary to become an entertainment reporter. For 6 years, Su-Ling hosted "Inside Entertainment", a national entertainment show on Global. She covered some of the world's most glamourous red carpet events and interviewed Hollywood stars, including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Tom Cruise. Highlights include walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, and chasing down U2's Bono at the Grammys.

In 2006, Su-Ling was happy to return to her family and home in the City of Champions to join Global Edmonton. She was also thrilled to return to her scientific roots (she has a Bachelor of Science degree with Specialization in Zoology from the U of A).

Su-Ling describes being the Health Reporter as the "best job in the world" - meeting inspiring people every day keep things in perspective for her. "It's hard to be down about anything in my life when I've just finished interviewing a young mom battling ovarian cancer, or a teenage amputee," she says.

Su-Ling has received two prestigious honours from the Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA). In 2008, she won the Prairie Regional Award in the Best Short Feature category for her moving story about a family's struggle to deal with the loss of one of their twin baby boys. In 2009, Su-Ling won the Adrienne Clarkson Diversity Award for the Prairie Region for her story about a special ballet class for kids with severe disabilities. She also picked up an Honourable Mention for her report on the need for better sexual education for people with disabilities.

The U of A and NAIT (Radio & Television) grad grew up in St. Albert. Her favourite pastime is wrestling with her toddler, Danick.
