Missing Edmonton woman found alive

62 year-old Janina Ivanov was found Sunday morning in her car on a remote rural road near Leduc by a worker checking well sites.

The public had been asked to help find Ivanov on Saturday after she left her daughter's house in Sherwood Park Friday evening, but failed to return to her home in Edmonton's Beverly neighbourhood.

Since then, RCMP and EPS were joined by at least 30 of Ivanov's family members and friends who had been searching day and night for Ivanov. She is now in hospital, where she's being treated for injuries due to cold exposure.
