Husband of missing Edmonton woman issues statement for the McCanns

The husband of Melanie Jerome issued a statement of support for the McCann family on Friday.

"Send our hopes and prayers to the family of Lyle & Marie Mcann for their parents safe return, and we know exactly what they are going through." said Scott Keith in an email.

Jerome, who is 47-years-old, has been missing from her Edmonton home since July 14th. Her family says her disappearance is out of character for her.

On Monday Jerome's vehicle was found abandoned on the south side of the city. Police are examining it for clues, but won't say if they consider her disappearance suspicious.
