Homicide unit investigating discovery of body on Edmonton golf course

Edmonton police are investigating the discovery of a body on an Edmonton golf course.
Investigators were called to the Riverside Golf Course at 12:45 on Thursday afternoon.
The homicide unit is currently on scene, although police have not ruled that the death is suspicious.
The city announced Thursday afternoon that the golf course would be closed until further notice while the investigation takes place.
According to the city, passes for the Riverside Golf Course will still go on sale as planned on Friday, April 1st, but will be sold out of the Victoria Golf Course pro shop until the Riverside course is re-opened.
