Explosion at CNRL Horizion oil sands site

Global News has learned that there has been an explosion and fire in the upgrader at the CNRL Horizon Oilsands site about 75 km north of Fort McMurray.
The upgrader is the portion of the plant that converts bitumen into crude oil products.
The fire broke out at 3:30 on Thursday afternoon.
According to a CNRL release, all employees were evacuated, and three employees were injured. All employees have been accounted for.
Production at the facility has been halted, and it's unclear when it will resume.
Alberta Environment has been notified.
