Elizabeth Crowley, or Liz as she is known to most, is the Associate Superintendent at Miskanaw Golf Course, MacDonald Island Park, Fort McMurray. Liz has a vast amount of experience in golf course construction, renovation, high end golf maintenance and several major golf tour events. She has a passion for environmental sustainability and is currently working on Audubon International Sanctuary certification for Miskanaw Golf Club.
Liz grew up in a small southern town in Ireland where most of her family live. She graduated with Degree from the University of Central Lancashire, in England. Previous to that Liz graduated with several certifications in Horticulture and Greenkeeping from Colaiste Stiofain Naofa in Ireland.
After graduation, she achieved a scholarship from the Ohio State University international turfgrass program, and spent two and a half years working at high end clubs in the states, Pinehurst Resort and Spa, Augusta Nation G.C and Ledgerock Golf Club. She started with Miskanaw in 2010, and is enjoying the fast pace and team spirit MacDonald Island provides.
