Edmonton gas prices jump

Edmonton drivers will be paying more when they hit the pump as of Tuesday.

Gas prices in the city spiked to just under $1.16 Tuesday afternoon.

That's an increase of nearly a dime a litre from where they were Tuesday morning.

Economists say the increase is tied to the price of crude oil that has jumped more than $108.00 U.S. a barrel.
