Building collapse in Spruce Grove

Emergency crews are on the scene at SO-CAL Speed Shop in Spruce Grove after the roof collapsed on Friday afternoon just after 3:00.
The shop, located on Diamond Avenue in Spruce Grove sells hot rod parts and clothing.
According to son of the man who owns the business, there were staff members and customers inside the building at the time of the collapse.
There are also reports that an off duty firefighter was inside the building with his young child at the time of the incident. He was able to protect the child from injury, but the pair went to hospital as a precaution.
Everyone made it out without injury.
The part of the building that suffered damage housed old antique car parts and antique cars that belonged to the business. Customer vehicles were stored in another part of the building.
