An eight-month old girl orphaned in a Christmas Eve car crash has been released from hospital.
Baby Aleera survived the head-on collision that killed her parents and an aunt near Vegreville.
Aleera was airlifted to hospital in Edmonton and treated for broken legs, a broken arm, and collarbone. Her doctor said she was a Christmas miracle, and just days after the crash, the baby is now out of hospital.
Global News has learned she's in the care of her grandparents.
