Alleged crime spree aided by unlocked vehicles

Edmonton police are reminding drivers to lock your doors when your car is running.

Police spent the morning searching for a suspect who allegedly stole five idling vehicles and a bicycle from the city's southside.

In one of the cases, he was reportedly able to get into a home through an unlocked door and grab the keys to the car.

Police are still searching for a suspect.
