Global Edmonton’s Troubleshooter is a winner of the Alberta Consumer Champion awards handed out Monday in Edmonton.Julie Matthews was one of eight people to receive an award issued to those who promote fariness in the Alberta market place.Matthews won for her feature on online romance scams and how to avoid becoming a victim.This is the 6th year the Alberta Consumer Champion awards have been given out. There are separate categories for individuals, organizations, and media.
Julie was also honoured at the Legislature Monday afternoon by Service Alberta minister Manmeet Bhullar.
