AHS to make performance data of EMS available to the public

 In an effort to be more transparent, Alberta Health Services will start making performance data public according to an internal memo obtained by Global Edmonton.

In the memo, AHS says it will put monthly reports on call volumes, response times for serious calls and the length of time crews spend in emergency departments, on their public website.

The announcement comes after harsh criticism EMS workers made to Global Edmonton last month.
