Vancouver's Gladstone Secondary in lockdown
Breaking News from the Global BC Newsroom
Vancouver police say Gladstone Secondary School is in lockdown.
Officers are conducting a search of the school after a report that a man, who is not believed to be a student, entered the building.
Police say the lockdown will continue until it can be determined if the person is actually in the building. The VPD's Emergency Response Team is also at the school.
The Vancouver School Board says Grade 7 students who were writing the mini school placement test have been allowed to leave the school. Parents of those students can meet their children at the corner of Gladstone and Vanness.
