Global Edmonton: The Morning News apologizes for offensive comments

During Global Edmonton’s The Morning News on Monday morning, co-host and Weather Specialist Mike Sobel made an offensive comment while on air. Clearly, his comment was unacceptable and not in keeping with the values exemplified by Global Edmonton as a fair and impartial news-gathering source. Global News management takes such matters seriously. Both Global Edmonton and Mike Sobel wish to apologize for his comment, and for any offence it may have caused.
